A coffee wall art print painted in watercolor: one short glass of espresso with a thick crema, under a bold ESPRESSO title and a line of Italian.
About the artwork
The watercolor is realistic, with pooled washes, visible brush marks and bits of white paper left bare to catch the light on the glass. ESPRESSO is set in a heavy slanted brush script in black, with the Italian line in red. Dark brown coffee, orange-brown crema and grey glass sit on a flat cream ground, with the title at the top, the glass large in the middle and the phrase in the lower quarter.
Why you'll love it
- A crema you can see. A thick layer of crema sits on top of the dark coffee.
- Glass that glows. The low, ridged glass has a clear rim, with paper left unpainted for highlights.
- A line of Italian. A short phrase in red sits beneath the glass.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above the espresso machine or beside the grinder where the morning shot happens. Cream, brown and red feel warm with butcher block, terracotta and brass, and a natural wood or gold frame flatters watercolor. A café or espresso bar is a perfect match.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? ESPRESSO, and below the glass, il piccolo colpo con grande impatto.
Is it a watercolor? Yes, the artwork is a watercolor, reproduced as a print with its washes and brush marks intact.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
