A kitchen wall art print: a woman eating with her hands, drawn in cobalt line, with Dreaming of a SLOW LIFE brushed across the left half in red.
About the artwork
The figure takes the right half of the sheet and is cropped at the hip. Her hair is a single solid block of cobalt while her buttoned jacket and hands are left as open outline, so the weight of the drawing sits at the top. She is eating with her fingers rather than with a fork or chopsticks, which is the detail that gives the print its unhurried mood. In front of her are a bowl of food, a plate of greens and a glass of water with a straw. The red brush type fills the left half in three lines, and the word LIFE overlaps the glass.
Why you'll love it
- Graphic-tee energy. Portrait and heavy type, straight over each other.
- A figure eating, not posing. Rare, and instantly more human.
- Split down the middle. Drawing right, words left, evenly weighted.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Portraits want to be hung at eye level, a little lower than a landscape would go. This one suits a dining wall, a studio kitchen, or a home office where the message is meant to be read more than once. Natural oak keeps the ivory warm; black frames give the red type more authority.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? Dreaming of a SLOW LIFE, across three lines.
How is she eating? With her hands — there is no fork or chopsticks in the drawing.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
