A Death Valley National Park panoramic wall art print: smooth cream sand dunes with sharp crests lying beneath a rugged blue-violet mountain range, with desert shrubs and dry golden grass in front. DEATH VALLEY runs across the sky in large white capitals, with NATIONAL PARK • CALIFORNIA • EST 1994 just beneath.
About the artwork
The dunes take the middle band, the range spans the background and a scrubby foreground runs across the bottom, leaving a big empty sky for the title. Cobalt, mauve and sand make a calm, cool desert palette. Death Valley is the hottest, driest and lowest of the national parks.
Why you'll love it
- Calm desert. Cream and cobalt keep the desert soft and quiet.
- Eleven wide sizes. From 12" x 8" for a shelf up to 54" x 36" on paper for a long wall.
- Part of a matching set. Every panoramic park print shares the same wide 3:2 frame and white title across the sky.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, color-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Eleven sizes in all, A4 to A1 included: 12" x 8" to 54" x 36".
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
It suits a minimal living room or a bedroom. Sand, mauve and cobalt pair with white walls and pale oak; a white frame keeps it airy.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the color, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Which size fits above a bed or sofa? 36" x 24" suits a queen bed or a standard sofa; 48" x 32" on canvas or 54" x 36" on paper for a king bed or a longer wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
How is this different from your other Death Valley prints? This is the wide panoramic print: cream dunes below a blue-violet range, with the white title across the sky. The vintage travel poster, WPA, screen print, retro, mid-century, oil, watercolor, illustrated and landmark Death Valley prints are separate designs.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
