About the artwork
The juniper is the piece that separates this version from a plain overlook view. Its trunk is drawn with long twisting grain lines and heavy shading so the wood looks stripped and dry, and the foliage is painted in small stacked clumps rather than a single mass. Behind it the canyon is built from repeated horizontal bands of terracotta, salmon, dusty rose and mauve, each with its own shadow edge, which is what gives the distance its depth. The sky is teal at the top, warming to cream at the horizon behind a low bank of cumulus. Sage bushes hold the bottom left corner. The lettering sits low on the sheet: DEAD HORSE POINT and STATE PARK on two lines in bold white caps, UTAH spaced beneath. Portrait, 2:3.

Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.
