A sports nursery wall art print of a crocodile in red shorts kicking a soccer ball on a striped background. Available in portrait or landscape.
About the artwork
The crocodile balances on one leg and kicks a black and white soccer ball into the air on the left. It is olive grey-green with a beige belly, a long snout with white teeth, brick red spikes along its back and red shorts. Fine vertical stripes in blue-grey and pinkish cream fill the background. A paper and dry-brush texture gives the playful sports scene a handmade feel.
Portrait or landscape
Choose the orientation that fits your wall. The landscape version is drawn for the wider format rather than cropped: the crocodile is smaller and set slightly right, the ball sits left of centre and the stripes spread wider.
Why you'll love it
- A goal-scoring croc. A crocodile mid-kick adds a funny, sporty twist to a nursery.
- Fresh, muted colours. Olive green, beige and brick red on soft blue-grey stripes.
- Two orientations. One design in portrait or landscape, so it works above a crib or a wide dresser.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Portrait: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1. Landscape: 12" x 8" through 54" x 36", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. Portrait 12" x 16" to 30" x 40"; landscape 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Portrait 12" x 16" to 30" x 40"; landscape 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang the portrait version over a ball bin or sports shelf, or the landscape version above a daybed. White or natural frames sit nicely with the striped background. Pair it with other sports prints, or pick up the red shorts in a cushion.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the landscape version just the portrait turned sideways? No. It is the same artwork laid out again for a wide frame, so nothing is cut off.
Is it a good fit for a sports-themed room? Yes. The soccer ball makes it a natural match, and the soft stripes keep it calm enough for a nursery.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
