A Crater Lake National Park panoramic wall art print: a deep sapphire caldera lake holding Wizard Island’s forested cone, snow-streaked rim cliffs on the far side and tall conifers framing the view like curtains. Across the top, CRATER LAKE is set in wide white capitals over a small NATIONAL PARK • OREGON • EST 1902 line.
About the artwork
Trees frame both sides, the lake and island sit in the center and the rim cliffs form the horizon. A dark rock pinnacle and pale flowering shrubs anchor the lower left. The lake fills the collapsed caldera of Mount Mazama, about 1,943 feet at its deepest.
Why you'll love it
- Sapphire lake. The deep blue anchors a calm, balanced composition.
- Eleven wide sizes. From 12" x 8" for a shelf up to 54" x 36" on paper for a long wall.
- Part of a matching set. Every panoramic park print shares the same wide 3:2 frame and white title across the sky.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, color-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Eleven sizes in all, A4 to A1 included: 12" x 8" to 54" x 36".
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a sofa or a bed with blue textiles. Sapphire and pine green pair with white walls and pale wood; a white frame lets the blue sing.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the color, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Which size fits above a bed or sofa? 36" x 24" suits a queen bed or a standard sofa; 48" x 32" on canvas or 54" x 36" on paper for a king bed or a longer wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
How is this different from your other Crater Lake prints? This is the wide panoramic print: Wizard Island in a deep blue caldera, with the white title across the sky. The vintage travel poster, WPA, screen print, retro, mid-century, oil, watercolor, illustrated and landmark Crater Lake prints are separate designs.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Dust paper prints with a clean, dry cloth; wipe canvas and framed canvas gently with a clean, damp cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed. More care tips are in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
