A Corpus Christi Texas poster taken from the water, looking up at the tied steel arches of the Harbor Bridge as they stride across the ship channel. The nearest arch fills the top of the frame, a second and third step away toward the far bank, and the downtown bayfront towers stand small and pale behind them above a line of palms.
About the artwork
Flat vector illustration made of hard-edged shapes, with the bridge trusses drawn as an open lattice of cream and grey-blue rather than shaded steel. The palette is narrow on purpose: cerulean sky, three depths of teal and navy in the bay, sand-cream on the arches, and cool pale blue on the glass slab towers downtown. Broken white flecks scatter across the near water to read as sun on chop. Type is centred at the top in slim white capitals: CORPUS CHRISTI above TEXAS. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- The bridge from below — a low waterline view most photographs miss, with the arch sweeping right off the top edge.
- Water carries half the picture — roughly the lower third is open bay, which gives the print calm space instead of clutter.
- Cool blues that suit a coastal room — teal, navy and cream, no competing warm tones.
- For Gulf Coast people — anyone who has driven that span, fished the channel or shipped out of the port.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
All that teal wants a pale wall to sit against — white, oyster or a soft grey-blue, as in the plain white and sage rooms in the photographs above. A light oak or white frame keeps it airy and coastal; black sharpens the truss lines if the room already leans graphic. It pairs well with linen, rattan and bleached wood in a bedroom or bathroom.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? 12" x 18" works beside a door or in a hallway. Above a bed or sofa, 24" x 36" lets the truss lattice stay legible instead of collapsing into grey.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. The framed canvas option arrives in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural, ready to hang.
What does the poster say? Two lines of white capitals across the sky: CORPUS CHRISTI, then TEXAS. Nothing else is printed on the artwork.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
