A Congaree National Park illustrated print in flat vector shapes: three rust-orange bald cypress trunks standing in still floodwater in a misty forest, with Spanish moss hanging from the branches.
About the artwork
The three trunks stand together at the center, full height, their flared bases meeting a mirror of still water across the bottom third. Pale gold mist sits between the ranks of trees, and a navy and slate canopy closes over the top. Congaree protects the largest intact old-growth bottomland hardwood forest in the Southeast. The header sets CONGAREE in heavy capitals above NATIONAL PARK · SOUTH CAROLINA · EST 2003.
Why you'll love it
- Mist and mirror. Gold haze behind, still water below.
- One grid, sixty-three parks. Every illustrated park print shares the same layout and header style, so any mix hangs as a matched set.
- Thirteen sizes. Start small at 8" x 12" or go up to 30" x 40"; A4 to A1 sizes are there too.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, color-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Put it on a high wall or up a stairwell. Rust, navy and pale gold pair with dark wood and cream; an espresso frame follows the trunks.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the color, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I choose? 12" x 18" works in a gallery wall of several parks; 18" x 24" and up stands on its own, and 30" x 40" fills a large wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
How is this different from your other Congaree prints? This is the illustrated version, in flat vector shapes with the shared series header: bald cypress in still floodwater and mist. The vintage travel poster, WPA, screen print, retro, mid-century, panoramic, classical oil, impasto oil, watercolor and landmark Congaree prints are separate designs.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
