A Concord New Hampshire poster that looks straight down a sunlit Main Street toward the gilded dome of the New Hampshire State House. Red brick blocks and white clapboard townhouses line both sides, maples and iron street lamps throw long shadows across an empty road, and the granite portico under the dome glows pale against a flat blue sky.
About the artwork
Flat vector illustration built from hard-edged shapes and blocked light rather than outlines. The palette runs cerulean sky, deep olive and chartreuse foliage, brick red, warm cream and a broad band of gilded ochre across the dome, with the eagle weathervane reduced to a single gold silhouette above the lantern. A blue-grey shadow covers the near half of the street, which makes the lit facades and the dome read brighter still. Type sits at the top in tall white capitals: CONCORD above NEW HAMPSHIRE. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- One unmistakable landmark — the gold dome and its eagle are the first thing anyone sees from the far end of Main Street, and the print keeps that same view.
- A street, not a skyline — the receding rows of brick and clapboard give the piece real depth instead of a flat horizon of towers.
- Warm gold against cool blue — a small, concentrated hit of ochre carries the whole composition.
- For anyone with New Hampshire roots — legislators, students, state workers and anyone who grew up driving past that dome.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The gold dome finds an echo in warm wood, so oak and walnut surfaces suit it best — see the walnut sideboard and terracotta wall in the photographs above. Against the sage green room it cools down and the foliage takes over. On plain white it stays graphic and bright, and a natural or gold frame picks up the ochre without competing with it.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Over a console or a bedside table, 12" x 18" or 18" x 24" reads well. On an open wall or above a sofa, go to 24" x 36" so the street and the dome both hold their detail.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. The framed canvas option arrives in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural, with hanging hardware fitted.
What does the poster say? Two lines of white capitals at the top: CONCORD, then NEW HAMPSHIRE. No other text appears on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
