This Charleston flower market wall art print fills almost the whole frame with a lush green garden of irises and white blooms. It is a stylized, imaginative take on Charleston, an artistic interpretation inspired by the city, not a literal view.
About the artwork
It is a digital illustration in a flat, opaque gouache style. It is nearly all green and turquoise with white, accented by black and a little orange on a pale cream sky. A faint skyline of towers and a columned classical building sits in the top fifth; the rest is a garden of leaves with white and pale blue irises, white blooms and orange accents. "FLOWER MARKET" sits across the top in teal, with "Charleston" handwritten below in orange.
Why you'll love it
- Green garden. Layers of leaves make it feel calm and botanical.
- Graceful irises. White and pale blue irises stand out against the greens.
- Quiet skyline. A faint row of buildings hints at a city beyond.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
It fits a bedroom, bathroom or plant-filled living room with white walls and natural textures. A calm gift for someone who loves Charleston or Southern gardens.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Charleston? No. It is a dreamlike artistic interpretation: a green garden with irises and a faint, imagined skyline. The buildings are part of the painting, not a depiction of Charleston itself.
What text is printed on it? The top reads "FLOWER MARKET." Below the scene you'll see "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION" and "NO.087," with "Charleston" written in handwritten script at the bottom.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
