This Buckingham Palace watercolor print shows the palace front and the Victoria Memorial at the end of The Mall in London. It is a watercolor-style interpretation of the royal setting, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine brown ink draws the neoclassical facade and its even rows of windows over light cream washes. The gilded Victory statue is touched in gold, geraniums are dabbed in bright scarlet, and The Mall is a pale pink-red wash, with thin drips at the lower left. Cream stone, park green and scarlet set the palette, with gold accents on the statue and gates. The palace stretches across the background with a flag on the roof, the white memorial stands center-right, and the road leads in from the foreground between flowerbeds and iron gates. Geraniums in full bloom place it in high summer. "LONDON" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Guards on parade. Two lines of red-coated guards in tall black bearskins march toward the palace.
- Scarlet flowerbeds. Bright red geraniums line the way to the memorial.
- Gilded statue detail. The gold winged Victory adds a bright point near the center.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".

- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Cream, green and scarlet suit a living room, a hallway or a child's room with red or navy accents. It is a fun gift for a royal-watcher or a family remembering a London trip. Pair it with our London watercolor print for a two-piece set.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Buckingham Palace? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Buckingham Palace. The buildings behind the palace are simplified and rearranged, so they do not match the real skyline.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "LONDON," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
