A boho wall art print of a black leafy branch standing in a squat clay-toned vase, with a terracotta sun glowing behind it on warm cream.
About the artwork
A single stem rises from a low, lopsided vase at the bottom of the sheet, carrying about twenty pointed black leaves in near pairs up to one leaf at the tip. Behind the upper half of the branch, a rosewood-terracotta sun sits off to the left, partly hidden by the leaves. The vase is a soft pinkish brown with a small off-centre neck where the thin stem enters. Leaves and colour fields are flat, with a faint paper grain in the fills. Generous cream space surrounds the whole arrangement.
Why you'll love it
- Earthy warmth. Terracotta, clay and black bring a sunbaked feel.
- A full, leafy shape. Busier than a single sprig, still calm overall.
- Suits warm-toned rooms. Looks at home with rust, tan and olive.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a living room or kitchen with warm wood, rust cushions and clay pots. An espresso or natural frame suits the earthy palette. Pair it with the taupe circle leaf sprig design in the same range for a set that shares the same sun-behind-leaves idea in lighter tones.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What plant is it? A generic leafy branch; it is not drawn as a particular species.
Is the background white? It is a warm cream with a faint paper grain.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
