A mid century wall art print in black on soft cream: a dot, a bowl-shaped half circle and a round disc balanced like a totem over a fine-line arch.
About the artwork
Three black forms are balanced one above the other along the centre line. At the top is a small solid dot; below it a larger half circle sits flat side up like a bowl; and beneath that, nine fine concentric lines form a tall arch that runs down to the bottom edge. Inside the arch, well clear of the lines, floats a mid-sized black circle. The solid shapes carry a faint grain while the arch is drawn in crisp hairlines, so heavy and light play off each other. The ground is a soft, pinkish cream.
Why you'll love it
- Balanced and calm. A symmetrical stack that feels steady on the wall.
- Heavy meets light. Solid shapes against hairline arcs add quiet contrast.
- Retro without colour. Mid-century geometry in simple black and cream.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The centred, symmetrical layout suits a spot above a console, a bed or a fireplace. It sits well with teak, cane and globe lamps, and with a black or natural oak frame. Pair it with the half moon quarter arcs design in the same range for a matched duo.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the background white? It is a soft cream with a light pink tint.
Are the black shapes textured? They have a faint printed grain, but the print itself is smooth and flat.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
