A minimalist wall art print of four sand-beige stones stacked in a quiet column on solid black, like a cairn reduced to its simplest shapes.
About the artwork
Four pale blocks fill most of the height, stacked like stones on a flat black ground. A long, level rectangle sits on top, a wider slab with a sloping lower right corner sits beneath it, and the bottom row splits into a narrow stone on the left and a broader one on the right. Their outlines are slightly lumpy and irregular, as if chipped from rock or cut from paper, and thin black gaps separate each piece. There is no texture and no text, just two flat colours, with the sand tone glowing against the dark.
Why you'll love it
- Dark and grounding. A black ground gives a light room an anchor.
- Earthy but graphic. Stone shapes in a clean, modern layout.
- Only two colours. Easy to match with warm woods and neutral fabrics.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Use it to add weight to a pale room: above a cream sofa, a light oak desk or a stone-topped console. Sand, linen and walnut sit well beside it. A black frame blends into the ground for a borderless look, while natural oak draws out the beige. It also pairs with the lighter three-stone design in the same range.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the background black? Yes, a solid black ground with sand-beige shapes on top.
Are the stones textured? No, they are flat blocks of colour with slightly irregular edges.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
