This Arc de Triomphe watercolor print shows the arch at the end of the Champs-Élysées in Paris, seen from a rooftop looking west. It is a watercolor-style interpretation of the avenue, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine brown ink outlines the arch and the Haussmann buildings, with zinc roofs washed in blue-grey. Rows of chestnut trees are dabbed thickly in orange, yellow and olive, and a long orange drip falls at the lower left. Autumn orange and gold, cream limestone and zinc grey lead the palette, with pale blue towers in the distance. The arch sits at the center of the middle ground, tree-lined sidewalks and iron balconies lead in from both sides, and La Défense and the Grande Arche rise on the same axis behind. Chestnuts turning color place it in early autumn. "PARIS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Deep avenue view. The long boulevard pulls the eye straight to the arch.
- Autumn chestnut rows. Orange and gold trees line both sides of the avenue.
- French flag detail. A tricolor hangs beneath the arch above the traffic.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
Warm orange, cream and grey suit a living room, a dining room or a bedroom with brass and cream. It is a lovely gift for a Francophile or a couple remembering an autumn trip to Paris. Pair it with our Paris watercolor print for a two-piece set.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Arc de Triomphe? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Arc de Triomphe. The angle of the avenue and some details are slightly rearranged.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "PARIS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
