A leather cap backlit profile poster in black and white: a strong silhouette of a person with natural curly hair and a leather cap, set against a bright white background.
About the artwork
The figure faces left with the chin raised, centered in the frame. One hand lifts a cigarette toward the face, and the outline of the fingers is sharp against the glare. Harsh backlight turns the hair and clothing into dark masses, but a sequined top with a leaf-and-branch pattern still catches small points of light. The cap brim cuts a clean line across the forehead. It is graphic and confident, like a still from a music video.
Why you'll love it
- Bold, graphic shape. The dark outline reads clearly from anywhere in the room.
- Cool in a lounge or studio. It suits a music corner, a home bar or a creative workspace.
- Minimal palette. Pure black and white keep the strong silhouette clean.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a record console, a leather armchair or a bar cart. A black frame matches the silhouette, while a white frame merges with the bright background. Pair it with the cowboy hat smoke portrait for a moody, hat-themed duo.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Can you see the face clearly? Mostly in outline; strong backlight keeps the face and hair dark.
Is the background plain? Yes, it is a bright, flat white.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Production & shipping
Nothing is printed until you order, so each piece is made for you.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
