This Victoria, Canada watercolor print shows the British Columbia Parliament Buildings across the Inner Harbour, with The Fairmont Empress on the left. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Victoria, Canada, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
The harbour is built from layered clear blue washes with bright reflections, and fine ink lines detail the domes, windows and masts. Hanging flower baskets are dabbed in pink and red, and several drips run down the lower left. The palette is grey stone, copper-green domes and harbour blue, with pink-red flowers, red and yellow kayaks and a Canadian flag as accents. The Parliament Buildings sit right of center, their green dome topped by a gold statue reaching into the upper sheet, while the ivy-covered Empress with its green roof stands on the left. A waterfront walk with globe lamps, flower baskets and wooden docks fills the foreground, with low green hills behind, in early summer. "VICTORIA" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Hanging flower baskets. Lampposts along the harbour carry overflowing pink and red baskets.
- Seaplane on the water. A floatplane skims the harbour beside a small blue-and-white harbour ferry.
- Copper-green domes. The Parliament dome and the Empress roofline share a soft verdigris tone.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.

Styling it at home
Soft blue, verdigris and pink fit a bright bedroom, a sunroom or a dining room with white or sage walls. It is a charming gift for a couple who spent an anniversary on Vancouver Island.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Victoria, Canada? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Inner Harbour in Victoria, with the Parliament Buildings and the Empress brought together in one loose watercolor scene.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "VICTORIA," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
