This Whistler watercolor print shows snowy Whistler Village at the foot of the mountain, with ski runs cutting through the pines and a gondola gliding overhead. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Whistler, not an exact view of the town.
About the artwork
Snow on the peak, roofs and pines is mostly bare white paper with cool blue-gray shadows. Pines are built from several layers of deep green, and wood and stone lodges glow in warm browns with golden lit windows. Snow white, icy blue, deep pine green and wood brown lead the palette, with amber lantern light and red jackets as accents. A snowy peak sits at top center with the Whistler Mountain ski runs cutting through the forest, and a gondola cabin travels its cable on the right. A stone clock tower and steep-roofed chalets fill the middle ground, and a lantern-lit snowy path with frosted pines leads in from the foreground in midwinter powder. "WHISTLER" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Ski day details. Skiers carry their skis on their shoulders through the village.
- Wooden sled ride. Children pull a wooden sled along the snowy path.
- Warm lantern glow. Iron lanterns cast amber light on the stone walls.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Its whites, blues and warm wood tones feel cozy in a cabin, a bedroom with plaid or knit textures, or a mudroom by the ski gear. It is a great gift for a skier, a snowboarder or a family that heads to Whistler every winter.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Whistler? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Whistler Village and the slopes, drawn for atmosphere rather than as an exact view.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "WHISTLER," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
