South America Travel Wall Art

What's in the collection

Illustrated posters covering the continent from north to south. Peru carries Machu Picchu, the Plaza de Armas in Cusco, the rainbow ridges of Vinicunca, the Huacachina oasis and the reed islands of Lake Titicaca. Bolivia brings the Salar de Uyuni salt flats and the cable cars of La Paz, while Chile runs from Santiago and Torres del Paine to the Atacama and the moai of Easter Island. Brazil is drawn many times over in Rio de Janeiro alone, alongside Iguazu Falls, the Amazon and the pastel facades of Salvador, and the north is held by Cartagena, Bogota, Medellin and Quito. The Andean ranges also appear in our mountain wall art, and Iguazu in our waterfall wall art.

One house style

Every sheet is drawn rather than photographed: flat layered colour, clean shape edges, and the place name set in condensed capitals at the top. Palettes change with the landscape, from Andean ochre and turquoise to the cool blue duotone of the Rio headlands, so prints can be hung tonally or deliberately mixed. Two or three make an easy set; six make a feature wall. The continent sits inside our wider travel wall art, and the formats are listed in our wall art size guide.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper in nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames, and on matte canvas either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
