This Santiago, Chile watercolor print shows the glass Gran Torre Santiago in front of the snow-covered Andes, seen from the stone terraces of Cerro Santa Lucía. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Santiago, Chile, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
The tower is layered in glassy blues, with thin ink lines for its grid and an open steel crown at the top. The Andes are left as white paper with violet-blue shadows, and the stone balustrades are drawn baluster by baluster in earthy yellow. Glass blue and mountain violet lead the palette, joined by the ochre stone of Santa Lucía, pine and palm green, snow white and a few orange trees. The Gran Torre stands right of center and reaches into the upper third, with office towers spread across the middle and a domed classical building on the right. A crenellated lookout, stairs and stone railings fill the left foreground, and a tree-lined avenue runs diagonally to the right under fresh winter snow on the peaks. "SANTIAGO" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Fresh Andes snow. The mountain range is mostly bare white paper, shaded in cool violet.
- Hilltop watchtower. A visitor leans on the railing of a stone lookout in the foreground.
- City in motion. A bus and small cars travel the avenue past a couple on a bench.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
Cool blues and snowy whites suit a home office, a bedroom with gray or navy tones, or an entryway with light wood. It is a fitting gift for someone who studied or worked in Santiago, or a reminder of a trip to the Andes.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Santiago, Chile? No. It is an artistic interpretation that combines the skyline, the hill and the Andes in one watercolor scene rather than an exact view of the city.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "SANTIAGO," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
