A Railay Beach travel poster standing at the waterline in Krabi. Three wooden longtail boats with their long tillers tilted out of the water lie moored a few metres off pale, sun-bleached sand, and a limestone wall hangs overhead on the left, dripping with stalactites and hung with vines.
About the artwork
Everything sits at eye level here, which is what makes it different from the usual aerial beach print. Warm ochre and bone fill the lower half in the sand and the sunlit rock faces, while the water is a flat, calm jade broken only by pale ripple lines. The boats are the detail piece: red-brown planked hulls with cream trim, drawn with visible ribs and a small awning. The overhang on the left is cool grey-blue shadow with sharp stalactite forms, and the type reads KRABI above THAILAND.
Why you'll love it
- A muted, sun-washed palette that suits rooms where the walls are already warm.
- Fine art paper, matte canvas or a framed canvas ready to hang.
- Thirteen sizes from 8 x 12 inches to 30 x 40 inches.
- Fade-resistant pigment inks, made to order.
Where it works at home
Of the three Thai coast pieces this is the calmest, and it belongs in a bedroom — above a headboard, or on the wall you see first in the morning. The sand and bone tones sit almost tonally with oatmeal linen, cane and pale oak, so it warms a scheme without adding a new colour.
Sizes and materials
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Thirteen sizes are available, from 8 x 12 inches up to a 30 x 40 inch statement piece, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. Every piece is made to order.
Shipping and care
Each piece is printed and finished after the order is placed, then shipped in protective packaging — paper prints rolled in a rigid tube, canvas and framed canvas boxed with corner guards. Keep the artwork out of direct sunlight and wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Paper prints are best handled by the edges until they are framed.
Questions
Which material should I choose? Paper is the most affordable option and lets you pick your own frame. Matte canvas adds depth and needs no glass. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang and is the usual choice for a feature wall.
Will the colours match what I see on screen? Printing is colour-managed, so the artwork stays very close to the preview. Paper reads slightly softer than canvas, which holds a touch more contrast.
Can I hang this alongside the Koh Phi Phi or Phang Nga Bay prints? They are designed to differ. This one is a warm, low, sand-and-boat view; Koh Phi Phi is a steep green clifftop panorama with pink flowers; Phang Nga Bay is a cool blue seascape of rock stacks with no boats. Hung as a row of three the palettes step from warm to cool.
