This Niagara Falls watercolor print shows the curve of Horseshoe Falls sending up a column of mist, with the American Falls on the left and a tour boat heading into the spray. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Niagara Falls, not an exact view of the falls.
About the artwork
The falling water is made of white vertical strokes left as paper, mixed with emerald green at the brink. A large gray-white bloom of mist rises to the right, a pale rainbow sits inside it, and the churning water below is turquoise ripples with white foam. Emerald water fading into misty white and park green lead the palette, with red geraniums and the rainbow as accents. Horseshoe Falls curves right of center with mist rising into the upper third, the straight American Falls and its boulders sit on the left, and the upper Niagara River with a few distant towers lies behind. The stone railing path of Queen Victoria Park, flower beds and lawn fill the foreground in early summer. "NIAGARA FALLS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Into the mist. A tour boat full of passengers in blue ponchos heads toward the falls.
- Park lookout. Visitors lean on a stone railing beside old-fashioned lamps.
- Rainbow and gulls. Gulls fly through the spray beneath a faint rainbow.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Green, white and soft blue suit a family room, a bedroom or a hallway with light wood floors. Give it to a couple who honeymooned at Niagara or to someone who grew up near the falls.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Niagara Falls? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Niagara Falls from Queen Victoria Park, focused on mist and color rather than an exact view.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "NIAGARA FALLS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
