This Havana Cuba travel poster parks three classic American cars along the kerb in the foreground, a teal sedan beside two red convertibles with chrome grilles. Behind them a street of pink, teal and yellow colonial houses runs back under stacked iron balconies and arcaded ground floors, and the ribbed dome of the Capitolio lifts above the rooftops into a flat turquoise sky.
About the artwork
Drawn as a flat vector illustration, with clean shape edges, no outlines and broad blocks of colour lifted by warm ochre highlights and cool shadow tones. The palette runs coral pink, mustard yellow, pale mint and turquoise, with cream stonework on the dome and its colonnade. The composition is a one-point street view: cars across the bottom third, facades framing both sides, the dome centred at the vanishing point. The lettering reads HAVANA above CUBA in white capitals at the top. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- A real Havana landmark — the ribbed cream dome and columned drum sit at the centre of the street, not hidden in the background.
- Classic car detail — three 1950s American cars in teal and red, drawn with whitewall tyres and chrome bumpers.
- Warm colour without clutter — pink, mustard and mint facades read clearly from across a room.
- Balcony architecture — wrought-iron railings, arched doors and shuttered windows give close-up detail worth standing near.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The coral pink and mustard facades want a wall that stays quiet, so warm white, oatmeal or a soft clay tone lets the colour do the work. Light oak and rattan pick up the ochre in the buildings, while a black frame sharpens the turquoise sky and the red car bodies. It sits well in a living room above a cream sofa, or in a dining corner where the mint and pink echo glazed ceramics. In a home office, pair it with brass desk fittings and a green plant to hold the warm side of the palette.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What is the domed building in the middle? It is the Capitolio, the domed capitol building in central Havana, drawn here from street level so the colonial terraces frame it on both sides. We also sell a second Havana print of the Malecon, the seafront promenade and sea wall, which shows the ocean and the curved waterfront rather than this inland street of cars and balconies.
What size should I get? Above a sofa or bed, 24" x 36" or 30" x 40" holds the wall. For a desk, shelf or gallery grouping, 12" x 18" and 16" x 24" are the easiest to place.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas arrive unframed. The framed canvas option adds a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
