This Coney Island watercolor print shows the Wonder Wheel, the Cyclone roller coaster and the red Parachute Jump above a busy summer beach in New York City. It is a watercolor-style interpretation of the boardwalk area, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines trace the wheel's spokes, the coaster's wooden lattice and the steel frame of the Parachute Jump, and the surf is layered in turquoise strokes with white paper left for foam. The palette is sea turquoise, sand gold and the green of the Wonder Wheel frame, with the red tower, red-and-yellow cars and striped umbrellas as bright accents. The Wonder Wheel stands on the left, seen from the beach in front of the Riegelmann Boardwalk looking north-west, with the white Cyclone and colorful striped stalls in the middle and the Parachute Jump on the right. Golden sand with umbrellas, a lifeguard stand and Atlantic surf fill the foreground, and pale Brooklyn apartment towers sit behind. It is high summer with warm, hazy sun, and the edges break into splatter on a white paper border. "NEW YORK" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Three classic rides. The Wonder Wheel, the Cyclone and the Parachute Jump share one beach view.
- Lifeguard stand. A wooden lifeguard chair with a red-and-white umbrella watches over the sand.
- Bright beach colors. Turquoise surf, golden sand and red accents give the print a cheerful summer feel.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
The turquoise, sand and red palette suits a beach house, kids' room, playroom or sunny kitchen. It is a fun gift for someone who grew up going to Coney Island, or for anyone who loves summer at the shore. Pair it with our New York City watercolor print for a two-piece set.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Coney Island? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the beach and rides, and some small details are simplified.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "NEW YORK," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
