This New York City watercolor print shows One World Trade Center rising beyond the Brooklyn Bridge, with ferries and a water taxi on the East River. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of New York City, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Fine brown-gray ink lines trace the bridge cables and the window grid of each tower, while broken blue strokes and gold glints build the river. The lower left corner melts into dotted leaves and a yellow-brown drip, and open white paper is left above the skyline. Steel blue glass and water play against warm beige bridge stone, with orange-red trees and a yellow water taxi as accents. One World Trade Center stands just right of center with its spire in the upper third, the Brooklyn Bridge runs in from the left, and the Empire State Building sits far off at the right edge. A railed Brooklyn waterfront walk fills the foreground in early fall. "NEW YORK" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Busy river traffic. A yellow water taxi and two white ferries with blue trim cross the East River.
- Early fall promenade. People stroll past old-fashioned street lamps under trees turning orange and red.
- Urban sketch detail. The towers are drawn window by window, in the dense style of a city sketchbook.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The steel blue and warm beige palette fits a living room, home office or entryway with navy, gray or rust accents. Give it to someone who once called New York home, or to a friend just back from a first trip to the city.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of New York City? No. It is an artistic interpretation of New York City in a watercolor style, meant to capture the feel of the waterfront rather than a precise view.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "NEW YORK," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
