A wine wall art print: a laid table seen from above in cobalt line, with Wine improves with age, I improve with wine written across the corner in red.
About the artwork
The scene sits inside a border made of four hand-drawn strokes left open at the corners. Solid cobalt is used only for the wine in the glass and in the bottle, which is why those two shapes carry the whole picture. A hand rests on the table with painted nails, holding the stem of the glass. In front of it a plate holds a knife and fork set at an angle across a piece of food, and the bottle standing at the right is half empty. Underneath runs a broken-stroke check cloth, and above it a length of patterned curtain or napkin fills the top of the frame.
Why you'll love it
- Overhead and busy. There is something to find in every corner.
- The line is honest. It stays a quick drawing, not a tidy illustration.
- A joke about ageing. Well worn, and still lands.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Dense overhead drawings collapse into texture when hung small, so go 18 x 24 or larger and hang it flat-on at normal picture height rather than tucked above a tall cabinet. A dining room or a kitchen with a real table beneath it is the right room. Natural oak keeps the ivory warm; black frames make the cobalt feel heavier than it is.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? Wine improves with age, I improve with wine.
Is the border printed? Yes — four hand-drawn strokes, left open at the corners.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
