A wavy chill lettering poster in white on black: the single word CHILL, drawn as vector graphics in a groovy, psychedelic style.
About the artwork
The letters are pulled tall and bent into slow waves, so the word runs edge to edge and top to bottom with almost no empty space. Each stroke swells and narrows as it curves, which gives a flat graphic the feel of something melting or moving. The black ground has no texture, so the white shapes stay sharp and the eye follows the curves instead of a background. A companion sheet in the store uses the same lettering style with a different word.
Why you'll love it
- Big mood, one word. A single word that sets the tone of a room without any clutter.
- Reads from across the room. Tall white letters on solid black hold up at a distance.
- Easy to pair. A pure black and white palette sits comfortably beside photos and line art.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a living room above a low console or in a bedroom over a dresser, where the relaxed word suits the space. A white frame gives the black sheet a crisp edge, while a black frame lets the whole piece read as one deep panel. Pair it with the wavy chaos print in the same lettering for a matched pair.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Does it have text? Yes. The single word CHILL fills the sheet in wavy letters.
Is the background black? Yes, a flat solid black with white lettering. It is a graphic design, not a photo.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
