A tell him I'm busy newspaper poster in black and white: a tabloid-style front page headlined Tell Him “I'm Busy” above a photo of a woman sipping tea on a sunny balcony.
About the artwork
BREAKING NEWS leads into the short headline, which leaves plenty of room for the large square photo. She sits at a balcony table with a towel around her hair and a patterned robe, a cup raised to her lips. A big photo book lies open in front of her, beside a silver teapot and a paper shopping bag. An olive tree in a pot and the stone facade of an old building frame the scene. Busy, in this story, means a slow morning that belongs to her.
Why you'll love it
- A celebration of me time. A gentle nudge to guard your slow mornings.
- Calm, mid-tone photo. The balanced grays feel restful in a bedroom or reading nook.
- A thoughtful single-friend gift. A light way to cheer on someone enjoying life on their own terms.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a breakfast nook, a reading corner with a teapot on the shelf, or a bedroom. A natural frame suits the olive tree and stone balcony, while white keeps it airy. It pairs with the rooftop newspaper-reading front page in this range, another towel-wrapped morning.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What is she doing in the photo? Drinking tea and looking at a large open photo book at a balcony table.
Is there a weather report? Yes, a small box on the masthead describes a mild, sunny day.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
