A boho wall art print in soft neutrals: two wide taupe brushstrokes wander from the top of the sheet to the bottom over a pale, blush-tinted cream ground.
About the artwork
On the left, one long stroke enters from the upper edge and sweeps down in a lazy S until it leaves the sheet near the bottom centre. On the right, a second stroke twists back and forth in tight bends, like a ribbon dropped on a table, running from the top edge to the base. The two never cross, and the narrow cream channel between them keeps the picture open. Along the edges of each stroke, fine broken lines trail beside the main band, the look of a brush running a little dry. The ground is mottled very lightly, like watercolour paper.
Why you'll love it
- Soft but not bland. The movement of the strokes keeps a neutral palette lively.
- Fills a tall wall. The strokes run edge to edge, so it reads well even at large sizes.
- A natural pair. Hang it with a light-on-dark brushstroke print for a reversed set.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Taupe on cream belongs in a calm bedroom or a living room with linen, bouclé and pale oak. Hang it above a bed or a low sideboard where the tall strokes have room to breathe. A natural or white frame keeps it airy; espresso adds contrast. It also pairs well with a print that uses the same squiggle in white on a taupe ground.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there any text? No, just the two brushstrokes on a cream ground.
Are the strokes raised? No. The dry-brush edges are part of the printed image; the surface is flat.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
