A mid century wall art print in taupe, black and ivory: a flat half circle hovers over a tall arch built from thick concentric black bands.
About the artwork
The top half holds a wide taupe semicircle, flat side up, stretching across about three quarters of the sheet like a bowl. Below it, separated by a slim gap, a rainbow-style arch rises from near the bottom edge, made of heavy black bands of equal width with ivory spaces between them. The bands narrow toward the centre until the innermost one becomes a small, tight U. The contrast is strong: soft, slightly mottled taupe above, crisp graphic stripes below, all on a warm ivory ground.
Why you'll love it
- Graphic contrast. Solid black bands give it real presence on a wall.
- Classic mid century shapes. Half circle and arch, nothing extra.
- Pairs with its opposite. Hang it beside an upside-down arch print for a mirrored set.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Strong black stripes make this a good anchor above a sofa, a desk or a sideboard in a modern living room. It suits walnut, black metal and cream textiles. A black frame adds to the graphic feel; natural oak warms it up. For a pair, hang it next to a print with an inverted tan arch.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Are the black lines thin? No, they are thick bands of even width with ivory gaps between them.
Is there texture? The taupe half circle has a light mottled look in the print; the surface itself is flat.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
