A curved staircase fashion poster in black and white: a photograph from above of a figure in straight black trousers and pointed slingback heels walking down pale stairs.
About the artwork
The steps sweep in a gentle curve, and the wrought iron railing follows them along the right side. A hand rests lightly on the rail, which adds a calm, unhurried gesture. The face is cropped out, so attention stays on the clean trouser line and the pointed shoes. The plain light steps act like a blank page behind the dark clothing. The architecture and the outfit share the same lines, which makes the photo feel designed rather than snapped.
Why you'll love it
- Elegant without fuss. A simple image that adds polish to a bedroom or hallway.
- Soft tones, strong lines. Light grays keep it gentle while the curve gives it movement.
- Built for pairs and sets. It hangs well beside other fashion photos in a monochrome grouping.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it at the foot of your own stairs, in a hallway or above a bedroom bench. A white frame keeps the light, airy feel, and an espresso frame adds warmth. Pair it with the pleated skirt tile floor photo in this range for a matching fashion pair.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Does the photo show a face? No, it is cropped from above, showing the trousers, shoes, hand and railing.
Is the background dark or light? Light, with pale steps behind the black trousers.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
