A sports nursery wall art print of a dog on a red skateboard in a Breton stripe top and mustard shorts, inside a decorative frame of diamonds and stars. Available in portrait or landscape.
About the artwork
The dog faces left on the skateboard, its coat a pinkish beige with speckled brick-red ears. It wears a black and white Breton stripe top and mustard shorts, and the red board rolls on grey wheels. A cream panel holds the scene, bordered by a row of brick-red diamonds and a row of ochre stars with a white scalloped edge. Outside the frame is a pale grey-blue margin, and the whole piece has a gouache, storybook feel.
Portrait or landscape
Choose the orientation that fits your wall. The landscape version turns the frame horizontal, with a smaller dog at its centre.
Why you'll love it
- Storybook charm. The patterned frame makes it feel like a page from a classic picture book.
- Layered colours. Grey-blue, brick red, mustard and cream make a rich but soft mix.
- Two orientations. One design in portrait or landscape, so it works above a crib or a wide dresser.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Portrait: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1. Landscape: 12" x 8" through 54" x 36", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. Portrait 12" x 16" to 30" x 40"; landscape 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Portrait 12" x 16" to 30" x 40"; landscape 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The built-in border means it looks finished even in a simple thin frame. Grey-blue walls or curtains pick up the outer margin nicely. Hang it alongside the dachshund or other dog prints for a playful pet gallery.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the landscape version just the portrait turned sideways? No. It is the same artwork laid out again for a wide frame, so nothing is cut off.
Is the decorative border part of the print? Yes. The diamond and star border is printed as part of the artwork.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
