A coffee wall art print: a moka pot breakfast table drawn in a single cobalt ink, with Petit Déjeuner written in red script at the lower right.
About the artwork
What makes this drawing unusual is how the light is handled. There is no hatching at all — instead, every object casts a solid block of cobalt to its left, so the whole table reads as though lit from one hard source, the way a one-colour screen print would do it. The objects are stacked in a shallow perspective that rises from right to left: a moka pot at the far left, a vase of daisies and buds, a printed ceramic mug, a plate of buttered bread, a plate of croissants, and at the front a stack of pancakes topped with a square of butter and a knife laid across it.
Why you'll love it
- One colour, real depth. Achieved entirely with cast shadows.
- A full table, calmly drawn. Busy subject, quiet treatment.
- Pairs with the green Petit Déjeuner print. Same theme, different handling.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The solid shadows all fall the same way, so the print looks best on a wall where the real light comes from the same side — otherwise the two light sources argue. A coffee corner or a breakfast wall is the natural home. Natural oak keeps the ivory warm; white frames sharpen the cobalt.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? Petit Déjeuner, in red script at the lower right.
How many colours? Two — one cobalt ink for the whole drawing, plus red for the words.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
