A Big Ben clock tower poster: a low-angle black and white photograph of the London landmark, with its bright white clock face set against a flat grey sky.
About the artwork
The tower stands slightly off center and fills almost the full height of the sheet, leaving open sky on both sides. Looking up from below, the Gothic stonework stacks into a dense pattern of tracery, pinnacles and carved panels. The Roman numeral dial is the brightest spot in the frame, with the hands near ten past nine. Above it, the pointed spire narrows to a sharp tip. A light grain in the sky gives the image a classic film feel.
Why you'll love it
- A London icon, kept simple. No color to clash, just architecture and sky.
- Tall shape for tall walls. The vertical tower suits narrow spaces beside doors and windows.
- Pairs with other city prints. It anchors a European landmark set without overpowering it.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Place it in a study, an entry hall or above a slim console with a few books and a small clock. A black frame sharpens the Gothic detail, while espresso adds warmth. Hang it alongside a Paris or Pisa landmark photo for a grand-tour gallery wall.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there writing on the tower? Only small carved details on the stonework, which are not readable at print size.
What does the sky look like? The sky is a plain light grey with a fine grain, leaving clear space around the tower.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
