This Ho Chi Minh City watercolor print shows the red-brick Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica and the yellow Saigon Central Post Office around a busy square. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Ho Chi Minh City, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
The cathedral is layered in terracotta washes, with fine ink tracing each window and the rose window. The mustard-yellow post office has clear ink outlines, and tamarind trees are dabbed in green. Terracotta brick and colonial mustard lead the palette, with tamarind green and accents of pink bougainvillea and blue glass towers. The cathedral's twin spires stand left of center, the post office sits on the right and Cong Xa Paris Square with its white statue of the Virgin Mary and round flower bed fills the middle. The Bitexco Financial Tower and District 1 glass buildings rise behind in the sunny dry season, and orange and blue drips soften the white border. "HO CHI MINH CITY" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Scooters around the square. A stream of motorbikes circles the square past a cyclo and a vendor in a conical hat.
- Colonial landmarks together. The cathedral and the post office stand side by side in warm brick and mustard.
- Old and new skyline. Palms and tamarind trees frame the Bitexco tower rising behind the old buildings.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.

- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The terracotta and mustard tones warm up a living room, a dining room or an entryway with earthy colors. It is a fond gift for someone who grew up in Saigon or a friend back from a trip to southern Vietnam.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Ho Chi Minh City? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Ho Chi Minh City. Some details are simplified, such as lighter colors on the cathedral spires.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "HO CHI MINH CITY," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
