A coffee wall art print drawn like a children's book page: two people stand inside a two-group espresso machine with their heads tipped back, drinking straight from the spouts.
About the artwork
It is all one colour, a deep plum red, drawn in wax crayon or coloured pencil so the line is thick and grainy and the paper texture reads through every stroke. Nothing is filled in — there is only outline. The proportions are wrong on purpose: the machine is built like a doorway and the figures inside it are tiny. Neither of them is holding a cup. One has short hair and trousers, the other long hair and a skirt. Three coffee-bean shapes stand in for the buttons on the front of the machine, and an italic serif line runs across the lower fifth.
Why you'll love it
- Naive on purpose. Wrong scale, thick crayon line, nothing coloured in.
- No cups anywhere. Both figures are drinking straight from the spouts.
- One plum red. A single colour across the whole sheet.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
A single deep colour on cream is quiet on a wall, so this can go where a louder print would tire — an office, a study, a landing, a row of small frames. It pairs directly with the desk-slump print, drawn by the same hand in the same crayon. Natural and black frames both work.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? “Here for the Coffee”, in an italic serif across the lower part.
Are they holding cups? No — both stand with their heads back, catching the pour directly.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Production & shipping
Nothing is printed until you order, so each piece is made for you.
- Printed and finished in 3–5 business days.
- Delivery a further 4–8 business days — about 7–13 days in total.
- Free shipping across the United States. Everywhere else is a flat $5 per order.
Paper prints ship rolled in a rigid tube. Canvas and framed canvas are boxed with corner guards.
Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
