A do it for the plot party newspaper poster in black and white: a mock front page with the capital headline DO IT FOR THE PLOT above a flash selfie of five laughing friends.
About the artwork
REPORTS CONFIRM sits above the slanted capitals, and the subline reads Sparkle is the only energy I accept. The photo below is a big square, shot close and a little blurred, as if someone grabbed the camera mid-laugh. Glasses of champagne and a beer bottle crowd the frame, and one of the friends wears sunglasses at night. Behind them, streaks of light stretch like a tinsel curtain caught in motion. The messy energy of the photo plays against the tidy newspaper columns above it.
Why you'll love it
- For the friend group chat. A wall-sized version of the night everyone still talks about.
- Brings energy to a hallway. The motion blur and bright flash add life to a plain passage.
- A great housewarming gift. It suits shared apartments and first homes with a social streak.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it by the bar cart, above a sofa where friends gather, or in an entry hall. A black frame tightens the blurry photo, while a white frame keeps the party light. Set it beside the private jet champagne front page from this range for a celebratory pair.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
How many people are in the photo? Five friends, laughing and close together, with drinks in hand.
Is the photo sharp? No, it is intentionally blurred with motion and flash, like a real party snapshot.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
