A rainy crosswalk fashion poster in black and white: a street photograph of a woman in a long black coat with a tote bag, walking away from the camera across a wet road.
About the artwork
The broad white stripes of the crossing fill the foreground and lead straight to her. Her coat and long hair lift in the wind, so the still street suddenly feels in motion. The wet asphalt holds soft reflections that make the stripes look even brighter. Old stone buildings close in on both sides and frame her like a stage set. Because her back is turned, the picture feels like a passing moment rather than a pose.
Why you'll love it
- Quiet city energy. It gives a room a sense of movement without loud color or busy detail.
- Works in small spaces. One strong figure and clean stripes stay readable on a narrow wall.
- Pairs with almost any decor. Its soft grays blend with modern, vintage and minimalist rooms.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Place it in an entryway above a console with an umbrella stand, or beside a reading chair in the living room. A black frame echoes the coat, and a white frame lifts the rainy grays. It sits well beside the sunny coastal convertible photo for a contrast in weather and mood.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Can you see the woman's face? No, she is photographed from behind, which keeps the focus on the coat, the stripes and the street.
Is there any writing on it? No, the image has no text.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
