A White Sands National Park vintage travel poster, printed full bleed: white gypsum dunes rolling toward a blue mountain range, with a soaptree yucca, rust-red shrubs and a huge cream cloud in a deep blue sky. White lettering reads ESTABLISHED DECEMBER 20, 2019 across the top and WHITE SANDS NATIONAL PARK at the foot, around the National Park Service bison seal.
About the artwork
The dunes sweep diagonally through the middle toward the mountains, the yucca and rust shrubs anchor the right foreground, and a giant cloud fills the top. Bright white against deep blue makes it one of the crispest posters in the series. Its 275 square miles of gypsum sand form the largest dunefield of its kind on Earth.
Why you'll love it
- Crisp and bright. Gypsum white and deep blue suit modern living rooms, bedrooms and offices.
- Lines up in a grid. Every poster in this series shares the same full-bleed layout and white lettering, so several parks hang cleanly side by side.
- Standard poster proportions. The 2:3 sizes drop straight into ready-made frames, from 8" x 12" to 24" x 36".
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, color-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 24" x 36", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 18" to 24" x 36".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 18" to 24" x 36".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
White or pale walls and light wood keep it clean; a rust accent picks up the shrubs. White or natural wood frames it best.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the color, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? 16" x 24" and up if it hangs alone; 12" x 18" works inside a gallery wall of several parks.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
How is this different from your other White Sands prints? This is the full-bleed vintage travel poster: white gypsum dunes rolling toward blue mountains. The WPA poster, screen print, retro, mid-century, panoramic, oil, watercolor, illustrated and landmark White Sands prints in the shop are separate designs.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
