A Washington Monument poster set squarely in cherry blossom season. The obelisk runs the full height of the frame, seen through blossom branches that arch in from both top corners, with more flowering trees massed along the bottom edge. A few loose petals drift across the open sky. The marble reads in two tones, warm cream down the sunlit right side and dusty mauve on the shaded left.
About the artwork
Illustrated in flat layered shapes with fine stipple work in the blossom, so the canopy holds texture while the obelisk stays smooth. The palette is almost entirely warm: rose, blush, coral and deep magenta through the flowers, near-black branches for contrast, cream and pale mauve on the shaft, and a sky graded from soft blue-grey at the very top through blush into a deeper rose at the horizon. Faint horizontal courses mark the stone blocks, and the pyramidion carries two small dark apertures near the apex. Type sits at the top in white sans-serif capitals: WASHINGTON MONUMENT, with WASHINGTON, D.C. smaller beneath. Portrait, 2:3.

Styling it at home

A carved gold frame leans into the romance of it; slim black framing pulls the dark branches forward and stops the pink reading as sweet. Avoid hanging it beside strong reds or oranges, which fight the rose.

Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.
