About the artwork
Detailed screen-print style illustration, cut from many flat shapes so each ridge reads as its own plane. The colour is the reason to hang it: iron-oxide red, brick and terracotta across the eroded walls, cool violet-grey in the deep shadowed clefts, three or four greens from lime scrub to dark forest on the wet slopes, and a small band of turquoise sea and pale sky at the horizon. Foreground detail is deliberately tropical — orange heliconia spikes, an open blue-and-orange bird of paradise, yellow flowers and fern fronds against a tan basalt outcrop. Rust and lime is a strong combination, so keep the wall quiet: white, cream or a warm clay. The terracotta wall and walnut sideboard in the photographs above suit it especially well, since the red ridges sit in the same family as the paint. A walnut or espresso frame deepens the canyon reds; natural oak lifts the greens instead. It carries a living room wall on its own without needing a companion print.

Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.

What size should I get? There is more detail here than in most of our prints, so go large where you can: 24" x 36" or 30" x 40" over a sofa. Below 18" x 24" the far ridges start to merge.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. The framed canvas option arrives in a solid wood floating frame, wired and ready to hang.

Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.
