A Tower Bridge travel poster from the water: the two Gothic towers and their pale blue suspension chains crossing the frame, the modern City towers rising in silhouette behind them, and the Thames in the foreground broken into hundreds of points of light.
About the artwork
Flat vector illustration with one deliberate trick — the water is scattered with drawn four-pointed star glints rather than painted highlights, so the river reads as moving even though nothing is blurred. The bridge is where the detail sits: the pinnacles, the arched windows, the walkway trusses and the ribbing of the roadway are all separated, and the towers are given three values of stone so the sunlit faces come forward. Behind them the contemporary skyline is reduced to flat blue-grey shapes with no windows at all, which keeps the historic bridge as the only thing in focus. Sky is a single graduated teal. Title in wide-tracked uppercase with England beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Old and new in one frame. The flat modern skyline behind the detailed Victorian bridge is the whole idea of the image.
- The river carries the bottom half. Star glints keep the foreground alive instead of empty.
- Teal and stone. Cool, calm, and easy to live with in a room that already has colour.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
A cool print — teal, blue-grey and pale stone — so it settles best on warm walls and beside wood rather than metal. It is a natural home office or living room piece, and works well at 12" x 18" on a gallery wall because the bridge silhouette stays legible small. If you pair it with another London print, choose one with a different dominant colour so the two blues do not compete.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Where is the view from? Low on the river looking upstream at the bridge, with the City towers behind on the north bank.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
