A red pagoda print for a living room that wants spring on the wall all year. A red pagoda and an arched bridge sit among pink cherry blossoms, a snow-capped mountain rises behind, and the lake reflects the scene. It is a postcard view in retro color.
About the artwork
Red, pink and white lead the palette: the red pagoda and bridge, the pink blossoms, and the snow on the mountain behind, with the lake catching their reflections. The arched bridge adds a curve against the upright pagoda, and the mountain gives the scene depth. It is drawn in a retro poster style with clean, cheerful color. The lettering includes "TOKYO JAPAN", along with a short line of Japanese characters. Portrait.
Why you'll love it
- A full spring scene. Pagoda, bridge, blossoms, mountain and lake all appear together, so the picture reads as a complete landscape.
- A curve and an upright. The arched bridge softens the tall, straight lines of the pagoda.
- Reflections double the color. The lake mirrors the red and pink, carrying the color down into the water.
- Snow behind blossom. A snowy mountain behind the pink trees sets cool white against warm color.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it over a sofa or a wide bench in the living room, where the bridge and lake give the wall a sense of distance. Pink and red suit warm white, soft gray or pale sage walls, and light wood or cane furniture. 24" x 36" gives the mountain room to read; 18" x 24" fits above a side table. A white or natural wood frame keeps it light and springlike. Pair it with a koi fish print to carry the water theme.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Which colors lead the print? Red and pink from the pagoda, bridge and cherry blossoms, with snowy white on the mountain and reflections in the lake.
What does it pair with? A koi fish or lotus print picks up the water and spring feel. On a plain white wall it can also hang alone and let the pink do the work.
How big should it be over a sofa? 24" x 36" suits most three-seat sofas as a single piece, and 30" x 40" suits a long sofa or a high ceiling.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
