A St Pauls Cathedral poster drawn from the middle of the Millennium Bridge: the steel walkway running dead straight away from you, a stream of people crossing it, and the cathedral dome sitting exactly on the centre line above the rooftops.
About the artwork
Everything here is built on one-point perspective. The bridge deck narrows to a point at the far end, its pale timber boards drawn as converging lines, and the balustrades on either side are a lattice of fine cables held by curved steel arms that repeat smaller and smaller into the distance. The walkers are painted as flat silhouettes in navy, rust and grey, thinning out as they recede. Beyond them the north bank rises in blocks of brick red, terracotta and pale stone, with a modern tower in cool blue at the right. The dome takes the top third: a soft blue-green lead surface, a ring of columns beneath it, the small lantern and gold cross above, and the portico and towers below in warm cream. The sky is a single flat aqua. London is the only place name on the sheet, in wide-tracked uppercase with England beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Perfect central symmetry. The dome, the vanishing point and the sheet all share one axis.
- The crowd is drawn in. Dozens of small figures give the bridge its scale and movement.
- Steel blue against warm stone. Modern engineering and old masonry in the same frame.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Because it is symmetrical it wants to be hung dead centre — over a desk, a fireplace or a console — where anything off-axis would look wrong. Cool greys, plaster white and steel or glass suit it, and it holds up well in a home office or a modern living room. A slim black frame echoes the bridge cables; a mid-grey mount gives the dome room to breathe. It sits comfortably in a set of city prints.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Does the artwork name the cathedral? It does not. The printed lettering reads London with England underneath, and nothing else.
Will it clash with the other London prints in the store? No. The London designs are each a separate scene, and this is the only one looking north across the footbridge.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
