A Springfield Missouri poster standing on the paved town square, red brick storefronts with striped awnings closing in on both sides, a stone fountain and iron benches in the middle, and a pale limestone civic building with a green domed clock tower rising straight ahead above the trees.
About the artwork
Flat vector shapes with hard edges, drawn in a warm, dry afternoon light. The palette runs brick red and rust for the shopfronts, cream limestone for the domed building, a weathered teal-green dome and matching awnings, and a pale duck-egg sky with two flat cumulus clouds. Sage and olive tree canopies break the middle distance, and the square itself is a grid of sand and grey paving with long shadows across it. Small details carry the scene: lamp posts, red benches, a litter bin, the clock faces on the tower. Printed at the top in white capitals: SPRINGFIELD, with MISSOURI beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- A square, not a skyline — low brick blocks and a domed tower, the scale of a real Ozarks county seat rather than a big-city print.
- Named for the right Springfield — MISSOURI is printed under the city name, so there is no confusion with the Illinois or Massachusetts city.
- Warm and quiet — brick red, cream stone and soft green make it one of the calmer prints in the series.
- Street-level detail — the fountain, the benches and the awnings give it something to look at up close.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Cream stone and brick red keep this print soft rather than loud, which makes it easy in a bedroom or dining room. It sits well on the terracotta wall in the photographs above and on any warm white or clay. The teal dome gives you a hook if the room already has green in it. Natural oak or espresso frames suit it best.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this Springfield in Missouri or another state? Missouri. The print names the state directly under the city, and the scene is the southwest Missouri town square, not Springfield Illinois, Massachusetts or Ohio.
What size should I get? The square has a lot of small detail, so 24" x 36" lets the storefronts and fountain read properly. For a hallway or a gallery wall, 16" x 24" still holds the tower clearly.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship rolled and unframed. Matte canvas comes stretched and ready to hang, and framed canvas adds a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
What does the poster say? SPRINGFIELD in large white capitals, with MISSOURI set smaller directly below it.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
