A Space Needle Seattle poster that takes the Kerry Park view: the tower's saucer top catching low sun in cream and pale gold, downtown's blue-green high-rises stacked behind it, and Mount Rainier rising snow-capped over the skyline on a clear, hazy afternoon.
About the artwork
Flat, hard-edged vector shapes with layered atmospheric haze, so each row of buildings sits a shade paler than the one in front and the city recedes the way it really does from the hill. The palette runs pale teal sky, slate and petrol blue towers, ivory and cream on the Needle's halo and on Rainier's snowfields, a band of terracotta and brick rooftops to the right, and mossy olive green across the grassy foreground. A black wrought-iron railing crosses the bottom edge and three small white birds drift near the tower. Printed type reads SEATTLE above WASHINGTON in white sans-serif capitals. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- The view people actually climb for — the tower framed against Rainier, not an isolated cut-out of the Needle.
- Depth without clutter — five receding planes of city built from flat colour alone.
- A cool palette that stays calm — teal, slate and olive, with terracotta rooftops as the only warm note.
- Reads at any size — the Needle's silhouette holds from across a room and the rooftop detail rewards a close look.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The teal and slate sit well on white, pale grey or the sage green wall in the photographs above, where the cool blues read as almost restful. On a warmer wall — terracotta or clay — the brick rooftops in the lower right pick up the wall colour and the print warms considerably. A light oak frame keeps the olive foreground in play; black frames push the skyline forward and make it graphic.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a sofa or a bed, 24" x 36" or larger holds the wall. For a hallway, a desk or a gallery grouping, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24" is the easier fit.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship rolled and unframed for your own frame. Choose framed canvas for a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural, ready to hang.
What does the poster say? The printed type reads SEATTLE across the top with WASHINGTON beneath it. The Space Needle and Mount Rainier are shown, not named, in the artwork.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
