A Santorini travel poster that puts you on the rim of the caldera at Oia: three blue-domed churches stepping down the cliff, whitewashed houses stacked along the ridge behind them, and the Aegean dropping away in deep cobalt with a single sailboat crossing it.
About the artwork
Drawn as flat vector illustration in the language of the classic travel poster — hard-edged shapes, no photographic gradients, and a palette held to four notes: cobalt and azure for the sea and the domes, warm cream for the plasterwork, teal for the shadow in the cliff face, and a thread of ochre where the sun catches the terraces. The domes carry a visible dry-brush texture so they read as weathered paint rather than flat colour. A low island sits on the horizon and cumulus builds above it. The title runs in wide-tracked uppercase across the sky with Greece beneath, and the image is held inside a thin white margin. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- The view people actually remember. Not a generic whitewashed alley — the specific stepped run of domes above the caldera that puts anyone who has stood there right back on the path.
- Blue that carries a room. The cobalt is saturated enough to anchor a neutral wall, and reads equally well against cream plaster, sage, or terracotta.
- Built to hang as a pair or a set. Same format and palette discipline as the rest of the Europe series, so it lines up cleanly beside another destination.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The palette is doing something specific: cobalt and cream against a warm neutral. It settles fastest on clay, sand or sage walls — the terracotta and sage rooms in the photographs above are the two easiest wins. Over a walnut or light oak sideboard it picks up the wood without competing; in a bedroom it holds a wall above the headboard at 24" x 36" or larger. If you are building a Mediterranean wall, pair it with a warmer coastal print so the blues do not stack.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Is the blue accurate to the photographs? Printing is colour-managed, so the cobalt on your wall matches the artwork shown here.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
