A vehicle nursery wall art print of a chimpanzee driving a sage green van, carrying a lion, a white goose and a giraffe on a cream background.
About the artwork
The van is shown side-on in the centre of the wide frame, painted sage green with a cream roof and a darker green stripe along the side. A chimp in a red top holds the wheel, a friendly lion sits in the middle window, and a white goose rides in the back. A giraffe's long neck pokes up through the roof, and a brown suitcase sits on the roof rack. The background is plain cream, and the hand-drawn digital illustration has a light grain and soft, retro children's book colours.
Why you'll love it
- A whole crew. Four animal friends on one road trip give little ones plenty to spot.
- Gentle tones. Sage, cream and caramel feel calm and easy to live with.
- Story starter. Where is the van heading? A fun question for bedtime chats.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. 12" x 8" through 54" x 36", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a cot or changing table in a safari or travel-themed nursery. Natural wood frames work well with the cream and caramel tones. Bring in a sage green blanket or a plush giraffe to echo the scene around the room.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Which animals are in the van? A chimpanzee driving, a lion in the middle, a white goose in the back, and a giraffe with its neck through the roof.
Is the background plain? Yes, it is a plain cream background, so the van and animals stand out clearly.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
