A Redwood National Park watercolor painting: a worm’s-eye view straight up the trunks of towering redwoods converging toward a bright opening in the canopy, the bark streaked with orange sunlight.
About the artwork
Strong converging lines run from the corners toward a vanishing point near the top center. Broken, mosaic-like strokes of warm and cool color build the bark, with loose washes in the canopy and bare paper for the sky. Some coast redwoods here stand more than 350 feet tall.
Why you'll love it
- Worm’s-eye view. The upward angle makes the trees soar.
- Made for tall walls. The portrait format suits the space above a bed, a narrow wall or a stairwell.
- Thirteen sizes. From a small gallery-wall piece up to a 30" x 40" statement print.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, color-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
It suits a stairwell, a tall narrow wall or a bedroom. Cinnamon, teal green and gold pair with dark wood and linen; an espresso frame suits the bark.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the color, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? 18" x 24" and up above a sofa or bed; 12" x 18" works in a gallery wall of several parks.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
How is this different from your other Redwood prints? This is the watercolor version: tall trunks converging toward a bright canopy, with no lettering on the image. The vintage travel poster, WPA, screen print, retro, mid-century, panoramic, classical oil, impasto oil, illustrated and landmark Redwood prints are separate designs.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
