A Myrtle Beach South Carolina poster taken from above the dunes, looking up the strand. Rank after rank of surf breaks along the whole right side of the frame, the sand sweeps away in a long gold curve on the left, and in the distance the boardwalk sits under a tall white observation wheel with a rollercoaster track beside it and a line of hotel towers running to the horizon.
About the artwork
Screen-print style with hard-edged flat shapes and heavy tonal banding in the water. The palette is a warm-cool pairing: deep petrol and mid-teal in the ocean, pale seafoam and cream in the breaking foam, and honey through apricot across the dry sand, under a washed pale-blue sky. Tiny marks carry the crowd — dots of teal, red and yellow for beach umbrellas, single figures on the wet sand. The wheel is drawn as a fine white spoked circle, the far towers as slim pale blocks. Type is set in white capitals at the top, MYRTLE BEACH above a spaced SOUTH CAROLINA. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- The strand, end to end — the long curve of sand and the boardwalk in one frame, which is what Myrtle Beach actually looks like from height.
- Surf drawn as pattern — six or seven parallel breaks stacked down the page give the print its rhythm.
- The wheel as the marker — a single white circle in the distance sets the place without dominating the picture.
- Beach colour that stays calm — teal and honey rather than tropical brights, so it works year round.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Teal and honey are forgiving — they sit well on white, sand and pale grey walls, and the warm sand tone keeps them from feeling chilly. Natural oak and white frames suit it best, as in the oak-framed bedroom shot above. It is a natural fit for a bedroom, a bathroom or a coastal-leaning living room, and it pairs with other water and shoreline prints without clashing.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? The surf bands look best with scale: 24" x 36" or 30" x 40" over a bed or sofa. 12" x 18" and 16" x 24" suit a bathroom or a pair on a narrow wall.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. Framed canvas comes in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural, ready to hang.
What is the wheel in the distance? A tall observation wheel standing beside the oceanfront boardwalk, drawn as a landmark on the skyline rather than as a portrait of any one attraction.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
